The Gedeo zone is found in the very well known coffee region of Yirgacheffe. Like all Ethiopian coffees, Black Lion is made up from a collection of small holders who hand pick and process their coffee. They then send it to a local mill where it is graded and grouped accordingly, in this case a natural process grade 1. This means high quality coffee for us and fair prices rewarding quality for the farmers.
