What A Night!

On Friday 11th July the best barista’s from around Victoria descended upon Commonfolk for our second annual Latte Art Smackdown. All profits raised on the night were going towards ‘The Cup That Counts’, an initiative focused on establishing a sustainable specialty coffee industry in Uganda. 

We had more contestants and more spectators than ever before. Thirty-two talented barista’s put their money where their mouth is and mustered up their best latte art designs, in a winner takes all knockout competition.

The kitchen team put together an amazing burger bonanza and thanks to some local brewers and wineries the drinks flowed freely. All in all we managed to raise over $2000 in what proved to be an entertaining evening of thrills, spills and serious latte art skills! 

The finals saw Casey of Commonfolk battle renowned latte art champion, Ben Morrow from the St Ali Family. The final was super tight but saw Ben take the crown with a flawless double swan.
