Be quick, it won't last long

Our final release from Diego and Diamante from the 2025 main harvest and what a way to close it out. We only procured a teeny amount from Diamante (it was all he had), just 24kg of green coffee. That means a filter only release, sorry ‘spro slingers.

Pink bourbon, once thought to be a cross between Yellow bourbon and Red bourbon, has now, after genetic testing, been found to be from the motherland of all coffee, Ethiopia, more closely related to Heirloom varietals. It’s still one of the most talked about varietals among baristas and roasters alike, up there with Geisha, and newer varietals such as Ombligon and Papayo.

As with all Diego’s coffees, but especially his natural processes, it’s a complete flavour bomb. Punching you in the face with sherbet and grape lollies, but with some 90% dark chocolate, and a cranberry acidity to finish up.

We’re now into our fifth year of purchasing from the Campos-Roa clan, and whilst always excellent, we’re really enjoying watching the progress and growth of Diamante. Now with Refugio in tow and the occasional lot from Finca Tamana we’re happy to keep committing to whatever they need us to.

Did you know 20c from every kilogram of coffee roasted and every cup sold goes to The Cup That Counts.
