What? Unicorn is Evolving! Unicorn evolved into Super Glue!
We have seen many versions of Unicorn and Horse over the years, but this new gen has revealed a
third evolution. Super Glue, the legendary we never knew existed, hidden somewhere on Mt Moon,
sorry… I mean Mt Elgon.
This year Horse is a classic washed Ugandan profile with apricot, Fuji apple and shortbread
sweetness notes. Horse is a dependable, balanced coffee that has proved Bududa’s new buying site
has real legs. Ripe cherry is pulped and fermented in tanks before drying on raised beds.
Pink Pony fka Unicorn has had a small transformation of its own for the year. I heard that there's a
special place called Bududa, where ripe red cherries are sourced and dried naturally on raised beds.
Tasting notes of blueberry, kiwi and the cheeky hit of killer python lollies, it showed Bududa’s playful,
fruit-forward side. It’s where they belong down at the Pink Pony Coffee Club.
And now the journey arrives at Super Glue, the final evolution, the rare candy of the harvest. This
Reserve Natural is chosen from only the ripest cherries, processed with care and was selected as the
best day lot of the year. Raspberry, blackcurrant and purple grape; crash together in a syrupy,
legendary cup that lands like a critical hit, that’s like 4% chance or something.
Three coffees, one origin, and a set worth catching.
Did you know 20c from every kilogram of coffee roasted and every cup sold goes to The Cup That Counts.
